The next best thing

I'm sure we've all been in a position where we've had to move on due to things such as company transfers, retirement, life choices to follow dreams, college, or even family complications. When we get to this step; however, we may find ourselves stumped with what to do to move into a new home.

The biggest questions we may come across are, can I afford to move and where will I move to?

Owning a house is part of the American Dream, but for many of us movers, it's not a suitable option.
So, what's the next best thing?
To rent a house is to pay to live in a house that is owned by someone else. The property owner is responsible for repairs and maintenance of the house, and the tenant is responsible for paying the rent on time and not causing undue damage to the home.

There are several benefits for renting a home.
You generally do not have to pay for maintenance and repairs.
Also, as a renter, you don't have to spend a large amount of money just to get into a house, whereas when you buy, the down payment can be quite large.
During a time of unstable real estate markets, renters have the choice to move as they please without worrying about losing equity, which is a huge problem for home buyers.
If you're living a mobile life, renting is very advantageous since you can simply move when your lease is up!

In the real estate market, you will find a wide variety of homes to rent- whether you want a four bedroom palace or a 1 bedroom abode!
